Shipping & Returns

Shipping Information:

Orders are generally shipped Regular Ground Shipping, via FedEx or UPS.  Please allow approximately 3-5 business days "after" you place the order for ground delivery.  Weather sometimes plays a big roll in delivery times as well. Please remember, UPS & FedEx only count "business" days, not weekends or holidays.  (Note: If you ask for delivery to an address with an apt #, UPS "will" require a signature.  They will not leave the package at the door.) You do not count the "day" the order was placed when determining delivery days.  Please remember that any altering or engraving of any kind could delay the shipping by one to two days.

Most items are shipped the same day as ordered if received prior to 12:00 p.m. MST.  Weekend orders are shipped on Monday.  Normal delivery time is approximately 3-5 days from day order is shipped, depending upon shipping location.  If you request a custom "cut" for your cane, delivery could be delayed an "extra" 1-2 days. If you order one of the Alpacca Silver canes, please allow an extra 3-5 days delivery - they are custom made upon demand.

Some of our products may be shipped directly from the manufacturer.  In some cases you may receive your paid invoice prior to receiving your items, which will be delivered within a few days. 

IF YOU PROVIDE AN INCORRECT ADDRESS, AND/OR ZIP CODE,  AND IT IS SHIPPED TO THAT INCORRECT ADDRESS, IT IS CONSIDERED SOLD AND DELIVERED AND IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.  UPS AND FEDEX WILL CHARGE ANOTHER FEE (APPROX. $12.00)  TO "RE-ROUTE" A PACKAGE TO ANOTHER ADDRESS OR TO THE CORRECT ZIP CODE. IF THIS OCCURS, YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED THIS ADDITONAL FEE WHEN WE RECEIVE THE BILLING.  PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN US THE CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS.

Express Shipping:

If you need your order to reach you in less time than the usual 3 to 5 business days, please call us to make arrangements for Express Shipping.  We will quote you a revised shipping cost and get your approval for the additional cost to be added to your order prior to initiating the shipment. 

Approximate EXPRESS Shipping Fees:

*2-Day Express ranges from $30 - $45

*3-Day Express ranges from $20 - $35

As "Next Day Air" is really expensive, you need to call us to figure the exact cost.

Shipping rates are based upon the "ship to" Zip code, weight and dimensions of the box. Exact Express Shipping Fees will be calculated when you call. 

NOTE: 

1.  WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A SPECIFIC "DELIVERY TIME" BY UPS, FEDEX OR THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE -  EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR EXPRESS SHIPPING.      2.  WE GUARANTEE WE WILL "SHIP" THE ITEM WHEN WE SAY WE WILL, BUT ONCE IT LEAVES OUR WAREHOUSE, THE ITEM IS WITH THE CARRIER. 
3.  FEDEX AND UPS DELIVER UP TO 9:00 PM IN SOME AREAS  
4.  IF YOU PAY FOR EXPRESS SHIPPING AND THE CARRIER "DOES NOT" DELIVER ON THE "DAY" SPECIFIED, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE.  ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY DELAY "ANY" SHIPMENT.

IF YOU ARE NOT AT YOUR BUSINESS OR RESIDENCY WHEN UPS OR FEDEX DELIVERS YOUR MERCHANDISE, AND YOU HAVE PAID ONLY FOR GROUND SHIPPING, THEN IT WILL BE LEFT AT THE DOOR.  IT IS CONSIDERED DELIVERED.  IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT THE SECURITY OF ANY DELIVERY LOCATION, THEN IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REQUEST AND PAY FOR SIGNATURE DELIVERY.  IF YOU SELECT EXPRESS SHIPPING, AND YOU ARE NOT AT YOUR BUSINESS OR RESIDENCE TO SIGN FOR IT, THE CARRIER WILL NOT LEAVE IT.  YOU MUST SIGN FOR IT.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. We do not ship to Europe. 

We do, however, ship to Canada.  Please see "For Canadian Orders Only" info page.

 

 RETURN POLICY

AND MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

SHIPPING DAMAGES  We must be notified within 5 business days of customer’s receipt of items, of any shipping damages to the box and contents. We are willing to replace or credit you for damaged items if you report damages to us within 5 business days of receiving the item. Please contact us via telephone 888-241-3748 for instructions concerning damaged merchandise. You must keep the damaged merchandise in its original box with all the cushion material, as the shipping carrier has the right to send a representative to view and/or pick up the damaged item for inspection.

  

RETURNS

You must call for a Return Authorization number to return any item. We will not accept any returns that have not been pre-authorized. Any returned item must be returned in their original box (or new box) with the original protective plastic cover & original cushioning paper or bubble wrap. All return items must be in brand new, resalable condition. Any returns that show damage or signs of wear will not be credited. We advise you to insure any return package.

If you wish to return an item, you may return the product for a refund of the purchase price within 5 days of receipt (less a $15.00 restocking fee). A 25% restocking fee will be deducted on items returned after the 5th day as long as the item is in new condition and has not been modified or used.   A cane that has been shortened from its original manufactured size qualifies as an item that has been modified and is not returnable.

After 30 days, no items may be returned.   We will not issue credit for returns that are missing any parts, shipping pouches, carrying bags or any items that were given as free bonus gifts. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If you received any free gifts or specials with your initial purchase, they must also be returned in order to receive your credit. If you received FREE shipping and you return an item, the original shipping & handling fee shall be deducted from any refund.

Manufacturers Warranty - All items are guaranteed against manufacturer’s defects for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. We will inspect the returned item and determine if it is a manufacturer’s defect. If the item is broken because of a manufacturers defect, we will replace it. Refunds will not be given for items that are broken by the customer and are not deemed to be a manufacturer’s defect. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you drop or hit any cane, you could break, chip, or crack, the cane whether it is wood or metal. We do not replace canes that are damaged due to dropping. We suggest the purchase of a wrist strap to assist with holding the cane.

Also Note: All two piece canes with metal band connectors are designed for style and are not meant to be weight bearing. All canes, regardless of style, are to be used so as to put maximum weight on the main shaft of the cane and not on the extreme ends. Proper use of the cane is essential in order to comply with the warranty.

We only issue refunds directly to the credit card used for the purchase. We do not issue cash refunds.
